8mm BW Footage of a Pizza Factory I think
Просмотров 453 года назад
I found this footage from a standard 8mm file, I picked up from the recycle shop. I think it is a serious show all of how this particular factory worked and functioned. For what ever purpose. There is no audio but if someone wants to record a humorous or otherwise audio mp3 track, I'll look at re-rendering the video to include your track

this is a 2 to 7 volt AC variable power supply from a vintage laboratory microscope. the lamp was blown so I made up an led equivalent in a little jiffy box and never ever did anything with this transformer. I thought it would be just a simple wirewound variable resistor like a train speed controller. when I did open it I got quite a surprise and thought id share this with you.

Thank you. Appreciate your feedback
Please will you do more videos on general maintenance and things people may find interesting on a Goldwing I am a happy new subscriber
I would actually attempt this myself after watching this video and I was terrified just removing the panels one of the most informative and easy to follow videos I’ve seen on a Goldwing
I am old enough to remember using these techniques in rescue. I joined the City of Mitcham (SA) SES Unit in 1975.
Putting lube on the O ring makes for easier install.
Yes I would normally do that. Hope you enjoyed.
Good job
I would simply pick it up with my hands.
Hobby train drivers look so serious. I remember this loco at Belmont Common Railway Geelong. It's sister engine was in Jubilee Park Ringwood. The boiler was clad in asbestos and was covered in white powder in the cab.
Thanks for the help!! It sucked ass but it's done and works! 🇺🇸🇬🇧🍻🙋🏻♂️
Well done.
Very well done , and explained...
Old video but put the nut in the battery sideways and you tighten it up straight on with the socket.
It’s liverworts, the answer has arrived after 8 years
WHEN DISCONNECTING THE BATTERY YOU SHOULD DO THE NEGATIVE FIRST
Thanks. I have had similar comments. I did offer a reason below also. As a info video, I should have done as you say. At the time, I was well aware of what I was doing and my process was safe. Thanks, I'll certainly give it better consideration next time. Shane
The "crash axe" being used was a hot item in the 60's.Must have sold the by the thousands..
Where did they place ?
Melbourne Showgrounds Australia.
I would be worried about cooking the battery with that much amperage,I have a gl1500 and never had a problem but take quite long rides without stops!
cool video but you forgot to say what each car is and the thousands of people watching are all trying to figure it out
We watched this in rookie class-1981 when I got on the job. My first accident we used a K-12 and a Port-a-Powr
👍
I have documents after flash flooding Highton I will look them out. Thanks for all your good work. Mayor of South Barwon Laurie Hill was instrumental in relieving the communities probs. I managed to have a committee form of residents. Other matters available
Excellent video. I may not install a CompuFire (haven't even got the Wing yet) but now I know how to do it.
I was trained by the best, and all the skills and knowledge I used in Natural / Man-made disasters since mega-earthquake Aceh tsunami and all other disasters up to present day.
Ma come mai questo trattamento?
Those campfire alternator are real power house when they work, but unfortunately there also very unreliable; they fail very often. There alternators that were in Saturn cars
Thanks for making this video. It will be very helpful someday when I have to change my alternator on my 1991 Honda Goldwing GL1500 Interstate Anniversary Edition.
Thank you Robert, glad to be able to share solutions.
Great job well done done
I live here
I miss that steam engine No 4 ‘Arthur T Middleton’ it was my favourite.
it was very good but theres been heaps of other good ones too
awesome! thank you
KMG365
Awesome job SES
how old is this?
Why is SES even needed? Why not just have fire do this?
In australia Fire dont do much rescuing, SES Is the rescue department
@@DiamondriverPlays Why run 2 departments when you can have 1? Much cheaper for the tax payers. It is interesting to see the various departments around the world. I think UK is the worst. They don’t send fire to MVA until AFTER someone gets on scene first like ambulance or police. Such a waste of time. Get everyone rolling than cancel them if not needed. The clock is ticking away from that golden hour.
you didnt replace the o ring oil seal?.....i didnt even see one
why would you be dumb enough to replaxe the STOCK fuse with something else, you don't replace that the bike wasn't designed for it! How stupid can be people get. I am using an alternator twice this rating and certainly wouldnt dare increase amperage for a loom designed for 40. If that bike pulls more than 40a your bike is toast. Come on man BASIC knowledge. Basic stuff
His example starts out wrong. You always disconnect the neg cable before the pos cable. This eliminates any type of arcing and causing a fire or explosion or burnt tools.
can u do a link to all the parts u got for this
17march2019.- Your video is excellent. I think you should show the camera the parts, screws and connectors that you dismantled and placed in the installation. I congratulate you. Thank you
One of the problems of older wings was stator issues, all that can be contributed to overloading the electrical, by lights and such. same for alt and battery. keep all that in mind when adding lights and what have you. I would consider l.e.d. light to be more practical and less draw on elec.system. I'd reconsider such a high amp producing alt as compu-fire for my gl1800
hello friend from australia
Greetings from Up Over (NYC).......thank you for sharing this with us.
So back then, the Engine carried Jaws of Life?
This is just speculation, but I think 107's district was less developed than it is now and kind of remote at the time, so they might have carried extra equipment that rigs in the basin wouldn't typically carry. 307 would have been the second engine, so maybe they tasked with rescue? I'll obviously defer to an actual L.A. County firefighter who may know the whole story.
what am I watching? what idiot increases his MAIN FUSE just because he increases his alternator. I've seen plenty of wing harnesses melt from idiots doing this. The wings wirering is rated 55a, it draws what it needs, if it decides it wants more than 55a you are fucked. The increased alternator amperage would only benefit for direct connections to the battery and keeping up charging your battery at idle. Compufire is also pretty unreliable, not my first or even second choice.Basic knowledge come on man
Funzo Support Appreciate your comments but I was only following the directions provided by Compufire. As was the fuse provided by them. Incidentally everything is protected by the standard fuses contained in the fuse box before the main fuse. The current output of the Compufire would have blown the original fuse if the battery was below 10.5 volt. I = V/R I am sorry if this video has caused you so much anxiety to the point you have to use profanities and bullying behaviour. If the Compufire did not perform well for you, may I suggest you speak directly with Compufire to relieve your anxiety.
I could swear that the fire captain is Dick Hammer, who was a real-live captain in the Los Angeles County Fire Department. He was the captain in the first season of "Emergency!". Captain Hammer had to leave the show because of his obligations with the department.
Pretty sure that's not him.
:)
Thank you for this video! You made it seem so easy, so I was a little paranoid going into this, but wow! It was as easy as you made it seem. Thanks so much for this video. I was nervous about attempting this but I did the whole thing in about 30 minutes...90% of the time was trying to figure out how to Tetris the thing out and then back in.
Josh Wexler Thank you for you feedback. Glad to have been able to help you.
Ummmm, yea...
This rescue actually occurred 15th of April 1978. I can verify this date from the original minute book in the Bannockburn VICSES files. It would seem that John Peel the Regional Director at the time has got his dates incorrect. Great to have this footage. This was a joint Bannockburn - South Barwon Operation.
Molto chiaro nella descrizione dei passaggi, mi sarà utile per la mia goldwing. Grazie ...Thank you
Grateful for this Vid! Wish me luck on mine! Big Love from Texas :-)
Boy I wish a 1200 wing was that easy.
